The LHC team—preservationists, historians, museum educators, and urban planners—brings diverse expertise and a passion for Latinx history to your classroom. Available remotely or in-person*, our professionals share their journeys, showcasing
how Latinx history, culture, and advocacy shape identities and impactful careers.
This four-lesson unit explores Latinx Historic Preservation, digital humanities, ArcGIS, and more! Offered virtually, in-person*, or hybrid, students are taken behind the scenes of The Abuelas Project and culminates in creating StoryMaps of meaningful places.
Found gaps in your state-assigned text? LHC offers custom curriculum writing to support counternarratives and include Latinx stories, places, and contributions. Whether supplementing or starting fresh, we craft engaging, tailored resources to ensure every student sees their history represented.
