Founded in 1928 by two brothers in Torreón, Mexico, and now in its fourth generation, Delgado Guitars carries nearly a century of Mexican and Mexican American luthiery. Its handcrafted instruments support musicians and school mariachi programs nationwide. Rising rents and gentrification in East Nashville now threaten the workshop and a living tradition that has already survived four relocations across two countries.
