Nogales, Arizona

Historic Morley Avenue District

Año de construcción:

c. 1900–1930 (primary construction period; corridor established 1880s)

For more than a century, Morley Avenue has connected families, businesses, and daily life across Ambos Nogales. This commercial corridor is older than the border fence itself, and more than 80% of its business has historically come from Mexican shoppers. Today, tariffs and tightened crossing policies, vacant storefronts, fires, and a major port of entry expansion next door threaten a binational main street that two cities built together.
