Founded in 1928 by two brothers in Torreón, Mexico, and now in its fourth generation, Delgado Guitars carries nearly a century of Mexican and Mexican American luthiery. Its handcrafted instruments support musicians and its brand La Tradición helps support school mariachi programs nationwide. Rising rents and gentrification in East Nashville now threaten the workshop and a living tradition that has already survived four relocations across two countries.
