Along 1,200 miles of the Rio Grande, ancient rock art, adobe churches, cemeteries, sacred landscapes, and historic communities hold more than 10,000 years of borderlands history. New border wall construction threatens to damage or isolate many of these places, putting an interconnected cultural landscape and the communities that continue to sustain it at extraordinary risk.
