Recognition is the first step. Once a site has been identified as significant, what pathways are available to help protect it?
This beginner-friendly webinar introduces the range of preservation options communities can consider, including advocacy, funding opportunities, partnerships, and early stewardship planning. Participants will also learn how documentation, such as photos, oral histories, and archival research, can strengthen next steps and support project development.
Who should attend: Community members, local leaders, educators, nonprofit organizations, heritage practitioners, and anyone interested in safeguarding the stories and spaces that shape Latinx communities.
