Latinos in Heritage Conservation (LHC) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and elevating Latinx heritage across the United States and its territories.

Founded in 2014, LHC works to strengthen the visibility, representation, and leadership of Latinx communities in historic preservation through grassroots engagement, education, research, and coalition building.

LHC believes that cultural preservation is a powerful tool for equity, resilience, and community-driven change. By centering Latinx stories, places, and traditions, we advance a more inclusive and representative vision of American heritage.

Our mission is build a movement that affirms Latinx heritage through education, conservation, and leadership development. Our vision is a just world that values Latinx heritage, people, and places.

LHC is committed to building a team that reflects the diverse communities we serve. We strongly encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and lived experiences. Research shows that women and individuals from historically underrepresented communities often apply only when they meet every qualification listed.
